History: What is known about Allison is mainly speculation. It’s assumed she was an orphan, something that Tex, at the very least, believes, and that during her adolescence dated an arrogant bastard by the name of Leonard Church. They were close enough that marriage was a topic that was brought up, and may have been pursued as Allison and Leonard had a daughter. What happened to her is unknown, but a good guess is that she signed up for the army and was KIA, leaving behind a boyfriend/husband that loved her decades later and a daughter that had been old enough to remember her. Leonard ended up in control of a military program and among all the other screwed up experiments he had going on, created an AI based off of his memories. His memories of Allison were so strong that when this AI was created, another based off of his memories of her came out of the mix.
Enter Tex.
Her memories from before her “awakening” as an AI are hazy at best, complete blanks at worst. Most fall into some vague category in the middle, things made up to fill in the space that are good enough for her. She never was one to ponder the past and she is aware that she is not human by any stretch of the imagination. She's aware she's an AI and aided the Director (the title Leonard Church went by in his project) in his military project, Project Freelancer. She was codenamed Agent Texas and when she was revealed to her fellow agents, she maintained the top ranking on their leader board with ease. Carolina, Allison and Leonard's daughter, was also part of this project and before Tex came along, had held the number one spot. Carolina was unaware of Tex's true nature, but most likely held some suspicions given her father's favoritism towards this new agent. Carolina and Tex held a rivalry of sorts that led to Carolina despising her while Tex tried to maintain a good relationship otherwise. It was here that Tex received her special armor with its cloaking enhancement, and was outfitted with an AI to aid her in combat, named Omega.
Project Freelancer's main goal was the bring an end to the war between the humans and the Covenant as soon as possible, though it served as a personal research project for the Director. The AI originally created based off of the Director was dubbed the Alpha and was tortured to cause other AI fragments to split off of it. These fragments were given Greek letter designations and assigned to various Freelancers. Agent Connecticut suspected that the Director was up to something shady and had been snooping and working with an ant-United Nations Space Command (UNSC) group called the Insurrectionists to find out what. She was killed due to her betrayal to the group by Tex, but not before Connecticut gave Tex the Director's research files she had found.
After reading through these files, Tex breaks out of Project Freelancer and with the help of Agent York, she breaks back in to try to save the Alpha. Infighting breaks out in the compound during the attack and when she finds the Alpha, she finds she had been too late to help him. The torture he had endured left him a shell of his former self, with barely any memory of her, and she is forced to leave him there. What exactly happens after this is vague, though she becomes a mercenary with the title Freelancer and is hired out to different teams of red and blue soldiers to aid in their struggle against one another. These soldiers are known to the Freelancers as simulation/sim soldiers due to their incompetent fighting capabilities. These soldiers were meant to provide a testing ground for Project Freelancer's soldiers to prepare them for the real war against the Covenant.
During her time as a mercenary, she took on a job that brought her to Sidewinder, where Alpha had been stationed with the Blue Team. It seems the Alpha had recovered some semblance of his former self and was allowed to think he was a normal simulation soldier that had signed up for the war. Her assignment was to annihilate the Blues and she took care of it easily, leaving only Church left alive.
Later down the line, she took a job to assist the Blue Team in Blood Gulch by replacing their dead teammate and recapturing their stolen flag from the Reds. In a horrible sense of irony, the "dead" teammate ended up being her ex, Church. She wound up being captured by the Reds and met Church when he attempted to rescue her after he took possession of the Red Team Leader’s body. This is when she learned that he believed he was a ghost rather than an AI and refrained from correcting him.
Through an unfortunate series of events to take down the Red Team so she can leave the blasted canyon, she ends up killed by a lucky grenade thrown by the light red member of the opposing team. Omega jumps ship to a new host and she doesn’t return until a couple months later when she takes over the robotic body Church had been using and informs them that Omega has gone into with their idiotic teammate. Her and Church enter the mind of Caboose, force Omega out (who then goes to seek refuge in Doc), and leave with their IQs intact.
Tex vanished again, reappearing later when the Blue Team gains two robots and she possesses one. During the crazy shenanigans that follow, she devotes herself to trying to destroy Omega who is still in Doc and protecting Tucker, a teammate, from Agent Wyoming, who is responding to a hit placed on the Blue. Everyone, sans- Church who joins them later, winds up tossed into the future by a large bomb and she continues to track down the AI down to a base he has taken residence up in. She teams up with the Red and Blue team to destroy the base and the AI with a bomb, but it winds up failing and leads to Church joining them in the future (or present, whichever) and the Blue Team having Andy, the talking bomb, with them for a short time.
The Blue Team meets an alien and end up helping them on what they assume to be a quest related to Tucker’s sword (not that kind, perv). Tex joins in hopes of taking the reward for the quest for herself. At the end of it, the reward turns out to be an aircraft that is shot down by Wyoming, causing Tex to chase down the other Freelancer in her anger. The trip takes her to what turns out to be Omega’s fortress and she enlists the help of an old Freelancer friend, York, to break into the place. The mission gets York killed and before Tex can kill Wyoming, he managed to escape and left her with his helmet and information on Omega’s real whereabouts.
The information sends her off to Blood Gulch with the clue that Omega is somewhere in the canyon. She sneaks up on the Blues and launches an extensive attack, only stopping when their new, female member yells at her to stop. She is not only enraged that there is another female there after she’s only been gone a few weeks, but also suspicious her teammates until she is sure they aren’t in possession of Omega. She aids the Blues in shutting down their tank, Sheila, because of how strange she has been acting and is part of the offense on Red Base that they are ordered to take. Her, Tucker, and Church take the empty base and are informed by Caboose that Omega is in Blue Team’s leader. This gets Church an immediate rifle pointed at his face until he explains to Tex that he isn’t the official leader of the Blues, he just pretends to be.
Wyoming shows up, his AI Gamma takes over the tank, and a lot of time looping happens. The only Blue immune to this is Tucker and he figures out the right way to get them out of the loops and without anyone dying. Wyoming is killed and the group makes it off the base to find even more Wyomings, each one created when they went through a time loop.
Tex, Church, and Tucker combat the Wyomings and Gamma and before the last Wyoming is killed, they find out what the hell is going on. Turns out that in order to win the war, Omega planned to use the alien birthed by Tucker, Junior, during his quest earlier to control the Covenant. Tex changes her allegiance and immediately seeks out Omega, who is in Butch Flowers, former Blue Team captain and recently revived by one of the aliens to find the child. Butch is rekilled, radios are turned on, and Tex knocks people out to try to bring Omega back to her so she can complete this mission and end the war.
When Omega finds her, she takes Junior and Wyoming’s helmet with her and escapes on a pelican, where Andy the bomb is waiting and ready to explode. Already far from Blood Gulch, the ship is set to crash despite Tex’s attempts to stop it and instead of ending up in some unknown canyon with a mangled body, she ends up on the Tranquility.
Personality: As many have said about her, she can be a bitch. A very angry, violent bitch. Her idea of diplomacy involves using superior firepower and strength to get what she wants or to simply settle disputes in her favor. When talking to most people, she is nothing short of sarcastic and snarky, especially when talking to her ex-boyfriend, Church. That isn’t to say she doesn’t respect or care about anyone, though. Earning her respect takes work and she tends to gives special consideration to those who show competence on the battlefield. With this respect comes recognition and she treats those more as equals she can work with.
Her competitive streak came out strongly while she worked at Project Freelancer with soldiers closer to her caliber than those in Blood Gulch. Despite her competitiveness and drive to be the best at what she did, she showed no malice towards other agents based on their abilities. She enjoys the competition and is more focused on getting her job done than petty rivalries. Unless given a real reason to despise or truly fight someone, such as betrayal, she is more likely to maintain at least a neutral, if not somewhat positive, relationship with other agents in Freelancer.
When it comes to caring, she might not show it, but even the imbeciles she’s been teamed up with have grown on her and another women encroaching on what she feels is her “territory” with her male team members evokes massive amounts of jealously. Despite this, she usually needs incentive to help them out or at least an excuse she can use to make it sound like she’s not doing them a favor out of the kindness of her heart. She's protective in the way that no one can mess with her idiot team members except for her, though she won't risk her life unless there's a suitable reward in it for her.
Greed and opportunity play a big part in her decision making process. She will do just about anything for money and depending on the person needing help, the promise of a favor she gets to choose at a later date can substitute for a lack of funds. She knows how good her combat abilities are and knows what they are worth to the right people. As mentioned before, she is considered a bitch by many, but in her mind, she isn't and only gets paid to do "mean things". The fact that she enjoys it greatly shows that a typical person's sense of morality does not hinder her ability to kill or injure someone else. While she claims she is not as much of a bitch as everyone says she is, she has admitted that the AI she was given made her meaner than before.
When it comes to her "boyfriend", Church, she has a strange relationship. It is clear that she feels something toward him, though she is hardly open about it, especially when others are around to witness it. She regrets not being able to protect him when she could and that drive to ensure he's safe seems at odds with her desire to end the war between humans and the Covenant at all costs. Ending the war takes precedence since she considers herself a soldier first, but she spends more time lingering around the Blue Team than necessary because of Church. She supposedly dumped him at one point, but she has not corrected Church referring to her as his girlfriend. They have a love-hate relationship built on arguing, snark, and still loving and caring about each other despite all their conflict.
Abilities, Weaknesses and Power Limitations: Her main ability stems from her combat capabilities. She's an extraordinary soldier and fairly strong. She is adept at maintaining vehicles, such as tanks, and her equipment, but does not have a great understanding of technology despite being an artificial intelligence. Due to her being based on the Director's memories of Allison, she always seems to fail whenever her goal is within reach. Whether this is due to circumstances or a fault in her programming (or a mixture of both) has yet to be revealed. With her armor and an AI, she has greater physical strength, better fighting capabilities, and the ability to have her armor camouflage by turning invisible.

Log Sample: Being incorporeal was even more difficult than it sounded, if that was possible. It was useful, given that her robot body had been ransacked and her cloaking enhancement stolen when she initially went out for recon, but she had to remain unseen at all times which presented its own set of problems.
At least she had found valuable information. Somehow, most likely thanks to Wyoming's own armor enhancement that she had brought along with her, she was a year in the future, without Omega, the aliens, or the sword. The war had ended during that time, though that didn't account for the aliens or their holy sword. Which meant she needed to find out just what the fuck happened to them and where they had gone before the ship crashed.
Wandering around to different bases had so far served her well and with no leads, she saw no reason to break the tradition. Soldiers talked and without a body, it made it easier for her to listen in. Much like the one-sided conversation she was currently hearing. The voice sounded oddly familiar and while what it was saying didn't sound particularly useful, she snuck around to hide behind a rock and get a look at the speaker.
She wasn't surprised when she saw him walking past. He was the only person she knew who talked like such an asshole. The fact that he had a body explained why the conversation was one-sided, he was probably talking to someone over his radio, someone he seemed to have a distaste for. Like that was a surprise.
Stepping out of hiding, she approached him from behind. "Church, what are you doing out here?" she demanded immediately.
Comms Sample:
[ The communicator is positioned so that she can be seen when it turns on. She's changed into a black and white military-style uniform that she found in her locker and is taking apart and cleaning her rifle on what she presumes to be her bed. She doesn't know what the hell this place is or why she's suddenly human, but there is something at work here and she speaks curtly, only glancing over at the communicator every so often while she works. ]
I'm going to only ask this once. What the hell just happened and who do I have to shoot to repay them for it? To whoever tossed me on this ship: you really shouldn't have left me my weapons.
