The stubbornness does not go unnoticed. "Fine, asshole. Just work all the time and do nothing else in this shitty place."

"And what would you have me do?" You think it's so easy, go ahead tell him how to magically make everything wonderful.

"Take a fucking break. Be a normal civilian for a few days. It might help you clear your damn head and get it out of your ass," she snaps.

"I have responsibilities." He feels lost without having something to do anyway.

"You don't have as many here. Do you even take any days off?"

"The lab isn't open all the time." So, yeah he doesn't have much choice. On those days he has a data device Caitlin gave him to study on... and his own datapad.

"Then take one of those days and do something fun for once. Even if it's reading a damn book. One that has nothing to do with work," she quickly clarifies.

"Good," she grumbles. Not like she can make him, but it'd be damn nice for him not to be working himself to death for once.
